    If selected, we’ll confirm a specific time and send the address and arrival details.

    After the session is complete, payment is issued using the method confirmed before booking.

You will receive $125 after completing the full 90-minute session, using the payment method confirmed with you before booking.

Friends, partners, relatives, and coworkers are welcome.

Some sessions need two people who already know each other. Each person completes their own eligibility questions and confirms their details separately by email or text.

Your video and audio recording will be used for research and to help develop and evaluate technology. Before you book, we will explain the consent terms and answer your questions.

What happens after I apply?

Applying does not book a session. If your answers may fit, our team will follow up by email or text to confirm the details and whether there is a suitable opening.

When will I be paid?

You will receive $125 after you complete the full 90-minute session. We will confirm the payment method before you book.

Can I apply with someone I know?

Yes. Friends, partners, relatives, coworkers, and classmates can apply together. Tell us your relationship in the form so we can review you as a possible pair.

Does the other person need to apply too?

Yes. Each person must submit their own information, meet the eligibility requirements, and separately confirm the opening by email or text.

Can I apply without a partner?

Yes. Apply individually and select the times that work for you. Whether we can place individual applicants together depends on the study’s current needs and availability.

Does each person receive $125?

Yes. Each eligible participant who completes the full 90-minute session receives the $125 participant payment.

Do I need to upload an ID?

No. If selected, you will bring government-issued photo ID to the studio so the team can confirm eligibility in person.

Can I participate remotely?

No. These sessions take place in person at our East Williamsburg, Brooklyn studio.

What happens to my information?

We use your answers to review your fit, contact you, and plan the study. Demographic questions are optional. We will contact you about future studies only if you make that separate choice.
